Crater Lake National Park (4) – Garfield Peak Trail

I always love hiking. Some views are just like moving postcards!

If you come here and look for some hiking experience in the Crater Lake National Park, this one is great, both in terms of views and experiences. The access is convenient, near the visitor center.

I love the feeling of out of breaths after some pushing, especially with good accompanies.

At some places, the climb can be difficult, with a very narrow road, at other places, you spot surprises — A patch of snow!

We see different aspects of the lake, the cliff, the natural lead you down to the lake, and a beach!

Along a constant narrow hiking path, one side is the mountain lines and visitor center in the valley; and the other side is this exotic lake view without any human activities in the sight.

I am heading towards the peak. There is this solitude and martian looking terrain, giving you the feeling of traveling at another planet, and a nature scene of the space. Around the corner, a loving couple sat at the cliff and maybe was kissing and making their life promises 🙂 We had a picnic here. When hiking with my girl friends, sometimes they bring along some gin and tequila in their little bottles to share.
